Monumental antique marble fireplace surround from the year 1820! The marble type of this beautiful fireplace is Paonazzo marble from Tuscany. The characteristics of Paonazzo marble are the diversity of color and composition. The high dose of iron oxide creates a warm glow of orange and yellow that runs through the veins. This impressive mantel piece is in the style of Louis XV from the Rococco Regence period. We have disassembled this antique chimneypiece from Hotel de Paris in Paris. The scallop in the middle of the front part with continuous ornaments on the legs creates a graceful mantel piece. A very beautiful antique fireplace that is valuable for any interior!
